Love it!

Absolutely great! My Jack Russel x English staffy can run her little heart out in it without issue, love that it's freed her shoulders and she very rough and so far after about 3 months it's holding strong...

Perfect for a running dog

Fits my Jack Russell perfectly and is so light
We run a lot together and regularly run over 20km on road and trail.
This harness is perfect- doesn’t rub or slip or impede his movement at all.
Wanted one for so long and really happy I finally bought one

Light, comfy, secure harness. Puppy moves freely, can’t slip out. Slightly big but adjustable.

I bought this for my 4 month old Jack Russell Terrier as she was uncomfortable in previous two harnesses we bought for her. She really likes this one and barely notices it's on as it's very light weight with lots of room for her to move. It's a touch big for her right now, but should be a good fit once she is fully grown, and is still safe and usable with a little extra room at the moment. I've had no concern that she would get out of it. A little fiddly to adjust at first, but easy enough and quite simple to put on and take off.

Hi & Light Dog Harness - Lightweight, Sporty

Perfect fit for our mini dachshund ! This Ruffwear harness is also great for securing our mini in the car using the ezydog car restraint. We bought a size XS and the fit is great for her size. Our mini weighs around 6kg.

Well made and comfortable for dogs

Skye loves it, she can sleep and wear it all day comfortable. It is super light but strong as she tends to pull when excited. Other brands I've had causes her to wheeze due to her pulling as the harnesses would place pressure on the chest unevenly. Don't have this problem now, it's wonderful, highly recommend.

Perfect fit for an active small doggie

The harness is amazing, bought it for my little chihuahua to be able to do training safely. The smallest size fits him well (was nearly impossible to find a brand with small sizes) and is good quality. Delivery was fast too.

Hi & Light in the tropics.

We only bought a new harness because after a year or so of wearing her current harness, the colour faded and the straps grubby. My girl wears her harness in the rain, runs through muddy waters, lays down in mud, rolls in bird poop. Add the days of harsh Cairns sun as well. Anyways the stitching is still top notch, just the salmon colour with blue straps...dirty. We bought a new one to wear at fundraisers for our local animal rescue.
The white Bichon Frise was at the same "Palm Cove Dog Show". My Shera is the Cattle dog x Kelpie.
This was the best photo with the harness showing as she did have a bandana on as well.

Perfect!

I had been struggling to find a good comfortable harness for my Jack Russell that wasn't just a big dog harness with shorter straps. Finally I found the Ruffwear Hi & Light (xxs) and it's perfect. Everything has been considered - and it's structurally designed appropriately for the recommended dog size. It's light, adjustable, strong yet not bulky, nice colour and we'll manufactured. In my humble opinion, it's the best harness on the market for a small dog.

Hi and light dog harness

This harness is perfect for our springer puppy, fits perfectly, doesn’t rub or impede her movement and she enjoys putting it on. Many adventures await this little pocket rocket! 🚀

Perfect harness for a very sensitive boy

My 10 year old whippet has always struggled in harnesses. They rub on his paper thin skin and just tear it open. I've tried different styles, had them professionally fitted, custom made, different materials. He's a large whippet so he fits medium harnesses from Ruffwear.
The Hi & Light Harness is so gentle on my boy. It doesn't cut in or rub on his skin at all. It doesn't choke him if he pulls to sniff something, he doesn't shy away when I put it on him.
Walks are back to being enjoyable for him!

Worth the little bit extra

I was hesitant about paying this amount of money for a harness, but it is far superior than anything I have tried before. It is very light and my pup is barely aware he is wearing it. My pup had sores and scabs in his armpits with other harnesses which is why I tried this one. The Hi & Light Dog Harness does not but up against his armpits, as others did, so it is light and comfortable for him. He no longer fights us when it's time to put on a harness. Previously, it was a daily struggle. I am very happy I paid the extra money and would highly recommend this harness.

The S size fits Josey my Hunterway/Border Collie very well and he likes it! Delivery was swift and the harness was easy to fit. Very happy with my purchase.

Brilliant for my Italian Greyhound

Excellent for an Iggy! Hard to get the fit right with their slender neck and deep chest. Carloyn was awesome at helping me chose the right one, super happy 😃

Lite and Mighty

We are big fans of Ruffwear dog gear, having originally been recommended the front range harness by our dog trainer. We have a reactive dog, his behaviour is improving but I need a harness I can trust to hold him at his worst moments. I was a little sceptical that this light version would do the trick, but wanted to give it a go for the quick drying aspect in the summer months. I am pleased to report that we've had no issues with this harness, and is definitely the go-to for our beach adventures.

Great Harness

The Hi and Light is a great harness. Solid construction but also light and comfortable. It is easy to put on and Willow likes wearing it.
We got the Medium for our 23kg Australian Shepherd and it fits well. It stopped the annoyance she was getting under her legs from her other harness.

Buy the blue not the green

I brought the L/XL sizes for a 11 month Golden Retriever and a small 28kg Lab. Fit good. Colour - the blue is good. The Sage green is quite pale in colour and no-matter how I wash it (delicate cycle or regular wash) I can not get the mud look out of of. Photos are directly out of the washing machine!

Hi & Light

I have a 13mth old Blue Cattle Dog X Kelpie. She is a petite girl. Instantly she started walking better and more with me. She was never bad at walking but this harness has improved on what was there already. Its light weight and better for our tropical climate. She still bounces like a kangaroo after birds so control wise for that has not changed much but I just have a bit more control to bring her back to me cos of the front lead. Love the colour, it suits here

Pretty in pink

We have a front range and a hi&light, both in the same size. Apart from having less padding in the chest and back panels, the main difference between the 2 is the width of the nylon webbing. It is narrower in the hi&light than it is in the front range. This doesn't affect its fit or function on my dog and I absolutely love the new range of colours.

Hi & Light Harness - very lightweight and it's waterproofing. Perfect gear for the summertime.
