NEW COLOURS! Flagline Dog Leash - Lightweight, Hand-Held or Waist-Worn

We love the new lead, it's light weight but strong, strong engought for my Kelpie when she pulls. Love the colour too. Highly recommended, wouldnt hesitate to get more colours.

This lead is perfect for me and my baby girl for when we go hiking together as I can just wear it around my waist and still have both hands empty. The length of the lead after being clipped around my waist is still long enough for her to get ahead of me for a bit. I bought it with the matching harness with the handle and it is a wonderful combination. However, the lock of the clip for the lead to clip on the harness is pretty difficult to use. Hence 4 starts instead of 5.

I bought this in conjunction with the awesome Flagline Dog Harness.

Pros: Lightweight, around the waist option for hands free walking; poo bag pouch, can easily tuck it under the harness when dog is off lead.

Cons: It would be better if you have two seperate clip options 1) normal hand loop 2) around the waist. Even though it's relatively easy to adjust for around the waist, it would be much easier to have a seperate clip so you don't have to adjust between the two.

Given how great the Ruffwear harnesses are I was definitely expecting the same usability/quality of their leads but was sadly disappointed. The crux clip gets jammed when trying to release it. The adjustable buckle does not hold so you cannot determine the length of the leash you want as it constantly slips. if it is not tied around something solid you are unable to keep the length you want it at. I only used this leash once but had to tie a knot it in to secure the 'adjustable buckle' and had more trouble clipping and unclipping the crux clip than was worth while. It is a beautiful looking leash but sadly has been put away until i can find a new home for it. Canine Spirit were wonderful to deal with as always but the product itself was very disappointing.
