Smaller than I had thought and attaches to leash easily. The side pocket fits a large iPhone perfectly and I can even touch the screen through the mesh to skip ads.
Love this lead, bought it to help my old Belgian Shepherd going up and down the stairs. I can also keep the lead on her while she goes for her free walks on our property at night, very handy. Good quality and easy clip on.
after some difficulty with fitment of harness, canine spirit Australia owner was delightfully patient and supported me to succeed with harness fitment. thank you
Very useful and practical. Larger than expected so I was able to fill it up for my 2 assistance dogs ( standard poodle and Samoyed x) and it lasted for a couple of days. Easily collapses into space saver mode for putting in the dog’s ’man bag’ for trips and flights. Yes, it’s more $$ than your cheaper no brand ones but this is seriously a great buy that’ll last for a long time.
Easy to put on - no need to sort out which way it goes !! We always use the front lead attachment as our girl gets a little excited at the start of a walk. This is our fourth Ruffwear harness.
I bought this for my 4 month old Jack Russell Terrier as she was uncomfortable in previous two harnesses we bought for her. She really likes this one and barely notices it's on as it's very light weight with lots of room for her to move. It's a touch big for her right now, but should be a good fit once she is fully grown, and is still safe and usable with a little extra room at the moment. I've had no concern that she would get out of it. A little fiddly to adjust at first, but easy enough and quite simple to put on and take off.
I am a breeder of Aussie Shepherds and these harnesses fit them really well. Now I’m also selling the XS size with the pups which the owners are also loving. I don’t shop for these anywhere else as Canine Spirit are brilliant and I believe in supporting good customer service.
My name is Pippa and I am a 14 month Border Collie. I had chewed through multiple leads and harnesses - Mummy says it's just that puppy stage. My RoughWear harness and lead set however, is not only pretty to match my runway looks, but I've left it untouched (for an entire month). I have a gorgeous flower attached to my harness and I get lots of compliments appropriate to my Princess station in life.
I particularly wanted a generous band (NOT a narrow strap) under my "armpits". All the other ones caused my long soft fur to roll into armpit dreadlocks. And Mummy and I argue over bringing scissors near my pits. It's just not on, no matter what she says.
When I have to run. I have to run. I don't care that Mummy can't keep up. The wide chest brace sits across my sternum and rib cage - not acting as a choke around my throat as the other ones tended to do. So it's super comfortable.
Mummy says on weight, neck, chest and body length measurements I should have fitted a Medium size. But just like Naomi Campbell I needed a small. Just be aware of that.
Otherwise it's tick, tick, tick. Oh is that the paparazzi over there?

Received my day packs and have used them a few times now, they’re a perfect fit (size small, used the measurement guide), the packs are a great size and don’t hang too low to hinder their shoulder movement.
