Key Features of the Ruffwear Palisades Pack:

• Removable saddlebags/panniers - the saddlebags attach to the underlying harness system using aluminium & Hypalon fasteners so they can easily be removed at rest stops or river crossings.
• Underlying breathable harness with zip pockets - the panniers attach to a standalone harness that has separate zippered pockets. So can be used for quick excursions. 
• 6 points of adjust-ability - to ensure a great fit and pack stability on your dog.
• Padded back handle - centered on the back is a handle that you can use to comfortably assist your dog up and over obstacles; centred for load dispersion.
• Breathable EVA back & belly panels - for exceptional comfort and breathability
• Three lead attachment points - a single aluminium V-ring in front of the handle, a reinforced webbing loop behind the back handle, and additional webbing loop on the chest for redirecting dogs that pull on the leash/lead

Sizing the Ruffwear Palisades Pack

Measure around your dog's girth/chest. The pack should fit snugly so that it does not shift and stays stable.  If your dog is right on the cut-off between sizes, Ruffwear recommends sizing down.

**Do not recommend sizing up just to get extra capacity. ** 

* PLEASE NOTE: it is not recommended that your dog carry more than 20% of their body weight in their dog pack - this includes the weight of the pack & the contents.  

If your dog is new to dog packs, start with an empty bag and gradually, over a period of days or weeks, work up to a heavier load as your dog gets accustomed to wearing the pack.

Washing Instructions

Pack: Secure fasteners and remove water bottles.  Hand wash cool water with mild detergent. Hang & air dry.
