The secure Web Master Harness is great for 'Houdini Dogs' who have a tendency to back out of a harness!  It has 4 adjustment points for an optimal fit and is long on the body (including 2 belly straps) making it nearly impossible for your dog to get out of when worn properly and snugly.

What's New for 2025!

  1. Three (3) leash attachment points to choose from: aluminium V-ring on the back, reinforced webbing loop on the front chest, or a reinforced webbing tow loop on the lower back.
  2. New neck buckle so the dog harness no longer needs to be put over the head.
  3. Durable chest cover for protection.

This harness is popular with 'Tri-Paw'd' amputee dogs or dog's with mobility challenges that need assistance up/down stairs, in/out of the car, standing, etc.

Use the padded handle on the back to:

    • assist your dog over fences, up rock faces & short level lifts during hikes or scrambling
    • help your elderly or rehabilitating dog to stand, on stairs or getting in/out of the car.
    • preferred harness of many avalanche rescue dog programs, service dog handlers & working dogs.

        Great piece of kit

Great piece of kit. Strong, comfortable and no chaffing. The grab handle and design, comfortably picks up my 30kg Catahoula, without hurting him.
We explore trails daily, doing around 10km per day, in the Northern Territory.
l mainly use the harness with a long 15m leash on the very rear attachment point. I find this perfect, as the leash pretty much always, keeps itself from getting under the dog and between it's legs. And when it does, it mostly becomes free again.
As we live in the tropics, and currently in the Dry season. I'm wondering how this harness will go in the humid Wet season. Maybe then, the Flagline harness would be a better choice. Though, l don't think it will make much difference.

Perfect harness for my rescue escapee!

My dog is a rescue and very skittish - we’re slowly getting him used to walks but man, it’s so much easier with this harness! It’s quick to put on him (which is super important), easily adjustable, and secure when we walk. He pulls, tugs, and stops all the time, so it’s already gotten some good wear. But I am impressed! Thank you for this quality product, I’ll be buying all my dog gear from here.

The best harness post spinal surgery!

As all products of Ruffwear, the quality is amazing! Fully padded, easy to put on, 3 points for the leash attachment. Gives a lot of support for our cocker spaniel after IVDD disc rupture, surgery and helping with recovery. We love it and recommend it!

Perfect my for little escape artist

We have been using this harness for just over 2 weeks and use it every single day. My beaglier wears a size small. It is perfect for her because the design of this harness means even when she pulls away from me, she does not slip out at all. It works because the straps gets stuck behind her arm so it doesn't come off that easily.

We also use it for short runs, it's much more comfortable for her.

Purchased for our whippets. Best brand ever.

Purchased these for my two whippets.
We already were fans of the ruffwear harnesses as we had purchased them when both dogs were puppies. We are only just replacing them 7 years later after giving them a rather ruff 😜 life adventuring through bush and lots of salt water beach visits. We won't ever buy any other harness now! They fit our whippets so well, look great and we know they will last a life time 🙌

        Zach is safe!

After cleverly escaping from his previous harness, coat and collar (all at once, and all still clipped!) to herd sheep, our 6kg dynamo needed to be a lot safer! After many recommendations on a dog FB group, we bought a Ruffwear Web Master harness for Zach (size XXS). Regardless of death rolls and numerous attempts to escape, he now walks beautifully and safely in his new harness. It is brilliant!!

not suitable for greyhounds anymore :(

i bought this after it was recommended by other greyhound owners online but didn't realise it was the "new" version which now has a thick foamy breast plate. super disappointed but I'm sure it works for other dogs.

        Excellent harness

I was looking for a harness that was comfortable and would provide a bit of extra support for my girl who is a newly a tripawd. So far it’s been excellent for everyday walks and giving her a bit of extra support as needed with stairs as she is a rear leg amputee. Very well made harness that’s really easy to get on and off and we’re looking forward to using it for adventures once we slowly build back up to longer walks and camping trips. She is a medium sized mixed breed and the medium fits perfectly.

My Whippy Jet is loving the freedom to walk without his neck feeling restricted. The harness is incredibly great quality and looks fabulous. I receive so many compliments.

5 tail wags from Jenna the whippet

Helps keep my anxious Mum calm on walks knowing when I flip out meeting other dogs my neck is safer than in a collar & I can't escape. The orange is super bright & fashionable & the material super tough but soft enough for my delicate skin. Also she can keep me safe with the back handle for lifting during possible emergencies/encounters & our LED light hasn't moved from its handle strap since first attaching after multiple hikes & zoomie sessions in the Australian bush/beach. Very happy with it overall!

        Great Harness

This is the second harness I’ve purchased from Canine Spirit and it is very strong and reliable. I always feel confident that my little Houdini won’t escape whilst on a walk

        Ruffwear Web Master Harness

We love this harness. Our girl is a front left leg amputee and it sits really well on her. It twists just a tiny bit but that's to be expected with a missing leg !
Well constructed and not bulky, so far it seems as good as all the reviews I read for harnesses suitable for amputee dogs. Communication was clear and postage was fast. Thank you.

        Good but...

Very happy with the harness, the only improvement i would think would be good is the front leg hole, it makes it tricky to get my dogs front leg in. Even more so because he hates his paws touched. But, over all its an amazing harness.

Great harness for whippets. Lots of adjustment for the growing pup. Well-padded in all the important areas. Looking forward to many years of use.

        Great quality product, highly recommend

I recently adopted a 3 legged Labrador. I had concerns on which harness product was best but after lots of research I was recommended Ruffwear webmaster.
I mainly bought this as I wanted a harness that wouldn’t slip around whilst my dog walked (as not secured by both front legs) and also to help with stairs in our house - which she hasn’t needed, as she ran up and down them straight away!!
She is missing her front right leg, so it’s an easy slip over the head and buckle up. If some one is reading this with a front LEFT leg missing, then you would need to lift their right leg into the harness which would make them unbalanced. Just something to think about!
Very high quality, durable material. I also purchased the brush coat with it. Not sure if really necessary & probably makes my dog hotter to be honest. But haven’t tried without so can’t say it’s not making a difference.
I chose the orange which has helped to see my black lab easier! I have a small lab, she’s only 20kg! And fits a small size.
I would highly recommend this product and also found Canine Spirit very helpful with any questions I had.

Does the job and looks good.

So far we are happy with Web Master Harness and finding the handle is in a good position for giving her the extra lift into the car when needed, it is nice and light. Teyla a Rhodesian Ridgeback can freely run about and hasn’t shown any discomfort wearing it. Only problems I have had is having to get that front leg in but that will improve as she learns to position herself, we bought the large and its at full size at chest and girth but when we fitted the brush guard (needed for hoisting) it is a bit smaller so isn't smooth on, doesn’t seem to bother her though. just annoys me but I’m not wearing it.

        Amazing harness

We adopted a greyhound 2 months ago who is a bit anxious when our and about on walks. If he sees another dog or people he will often pause and try to back up and risking come out of his collar and other harnesses we have tried. We did some research and came across the webmaster. It has been amazing. He can’t get out of it by accident. And both he and I feel so much more confident on walks with it on. If he gets a bit scared I just reassure him and use the handle to encourage him to walk and he does. He is getting more and more confident every time we go out.
        Amazing harness and highly recommend.
