Load Up Dog Car Harness - Secure, Strong Harness

The Ruffwear Load Up dog harness is a travel dog harness designed to safely restrain dogs in vehicles by attaching to the existing seat-belt via a universal fit seat belt loop.

Not only does this harness keep dogs secure during sudden vehicle movements, it also secures them in the backseat so they can't reach and distract drivers.  Built with strength-rated hardware and components, the Load Up Harness has been successfully tested to withstand the rigors of a vehicle crash test.   

Although the harness restricts movement in the vehicle, it still allows your dog to stand up, sit or sleep as they please.  This safety dog harness is easy to put on and adjust, and is comfortable for dogs to wear during extended travel and can be left on for bathroom breaks and rest stops.  Note there isn't a separate back leash attachment on this leash so you will need a collar to clip a leash.

It's important to note that the harness is only for use in the rear passenger seats (not front seats).

PLEASE NOTE: there is no dog leash attachment point on this harness, so it isn't designed as a walking harness.  You may be able to attach a leash with karabiner to the back loop.

Washing Instructions

Secure fasteners and hand wash with mild detergents.   Air dry away from direct sunlight.
