Ruffwear are now out of stock globally of the XS, S and M sizes. As such we don't have these sizes available. They will be available in approx August 2021.
The Ruffwear Load Up dog harness is a travel harness designed to safely restrain dogs in vehicles by attaching to the existing seat-belt for a universal fit.
Not only does this harness keep dogs secure during sudden vehicle movements, it also secures them in the backseat so they can't reach and distract drivers. Built with strength-rated hardware and components, the Load Up Harness has been successfully tested to withstand the rigors of a vehicle crash test.
The dog harness is easy to put on and adjust, and is comfortable for dogs to wear during extended travel and during rest stops. Although it restricts movement in the vehicle, it still allows the dog to stand up and turn around. You can download Ruffwear's booklet on Safety Information & Instructions for Use here. Click here to read about the Load Up Harness Safety Testing. Always check the harness for damage before use.
Its important to note that the harness is only for use in the rear passenger seats (not front seats).
Please note, there is no dog leash attachment point on this harness, so it can't be used as a walking harness.
Available in 5 sizes. To choose the best size, carefully measure around the widest part of your dog's chest/girth. In between sizes? Choose the smaller size.

The ONLY reason I had to buy another one is because I was stupid and left it out with treats still in it with a puppy around. If it hadn't been chewed to pieces, my first one would still have been absolutely perfect after 2 years of daily use. Instant re-buy
My dog had an fibrocartilaginous embolism or FCE just before Christmas and needed a harness asap that would be useful to his rehabilitation. Canine Spirit got his harness to me so quickly considering the time of the year with covid. Thank you
