The K-9 Float Coat by Ruffwear is a premium life jacket designed for dogs that love to SUP, surf, kayak, raft or boat. It is the ultimate in canine floation and water safety with great details such as a strong, centrally placed handle on the back that allows you to help your pup out of the water and reflective trim that gives enhanced visibility.
The K-9 Float Coat is available in 6 sizes - to choose the best size, measure around your dog's girth/chest.
If your dog is in-between sizes or a unique shape, you can also consider the neck size (around the neck) and the coat length (from the base of the neck towards the tail). Note: the dog coat should only cover the ribcage and not go the full length of the body - otherwise it can interfere with the rear legs in swimming.

Here are what a couple of our customers say about the K-9 Float Coat:
'We're so proud of Marley and her new jacket. She is now my paddle board buddy (and everyone else's…she will hijack a board on approach!). It's wonderful to see her happy again after we lost our old girl of 14 years (her best friend). I especially love the hand on the back of the K-9 Float Coat". Mel
"Best day ever trailing out my new jacket. I have never swum so confidently - mum and dad were very impressed! Swam out to Dad about 30-40m offshore to get my ball and then back again - all by myself!" (Sprocket says he's feeling awesome!)
Secure fasteners. Hand wash with mild detergent. Air dry.
Our big girl has an amazing ability: to shrug out of almost any harness and dash for the horizon ;p We've been through four different harnesses, every one of which she would find a way to wiggle out of. This one has proven escape proof. And the handle on the back is a helpful extra holding point when she gets over-enthusiastic passing by other dogs and wants to leap over and meet them ;p
Definitely worth every cent.
